The top lines of effort of Death Ray, where we have identified shortcomings and are working to provide solutions

ECONOMY OF POWER

In an extended-length collapse scenario, or environment with a contested supply chain, a constant supply of disposable batteries is not guaranteed.

We define Economy of Power as getting the highest level of operational value from the least amount of disposable energy sources. On an extended scale this is the concept of converting energy from natural and infinite sources (solar panels, wind turbines, hydropower, etc.) to reusable and operationally relevant forms.

Death Ray Systems seeks to apply of economy of power, extending a discerning individual’s capability even when they cannot expect resupply or a wall outlet.

Nocturnal systems

At Home

Statistically, bad things happen during the night. We aim to offer the prepared civilian gear that will expand their efficiency and capabilities. The citizen only prepared for daytime is only prepared for 50% of the year.

Deployed

Silhouetted individuals in camouflage clothing gathered around a fire at night.

Until recently the United States enjoyed Total Dominance during period of darkness. With the proliferation of reverse-engineered 3rd generation Night Vision systems, that advantage has waned. Death Ray Designs is committed to re-acquiring that overmatch in whatever way we can.

MESH COMMUNICATIONS

We believe in a layered comms-plan, and voice is the bottom rung.

A long range text-based communications system is essential to a preparedness plan.

Death Ray Designs is partnered with Pollux Field Systems in order to bring high-quality, geospatially integrated mesh nodes to the consumer market.
